January 20 : Shekhar Kapur is returning as the director of an ambitious project, a Hollywood film starring none other than Academy-award winning British actress Emma Thompson. The director will also reunite with Shabana Azmi in this romantic comedy.
The cross-cultural film is written by Jemima Khan, who was once married to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan. Besides Emma Thompson, the film also stars Lily James (Baby Driver) and Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery). The film revolves around love and marriage and is set in London and South Asia. Jemima Khan will also co-produce the film under her Instinct Productions banner.
