Actor Ryan Reynolds will cash in with a major payday after Mint Mobile, a prepaid wireless provider which he owns, was sold to T-Mobile for $2 billion.
Mint Mobile, which launched in 2016, is known as a cheaper alternative to expensive mobile plans. The actor Ryan Reynolds purchased an ownership stake in the company in 2019.
T-Mobile is buying budget wireless carrier Mint Mobile's parent Ka'ena Corporation in a deal that could be worth up to $1.35 billion in a combination of 39.
