Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai was booked on Monday by Cuddalore district police on charges of provocation with an intent to cause riot by claiming that a group of people had murdered a woman and attacked her family members for not voting for the alliance led by the DMK in the Lok Sabha polls, reported Times Now.
Annamalai said that BJP’s messaging in Thiruvananthapuram is very clear. It has given ticket to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, with a proven track record in enabling IT and technology oriented solutions.
Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Polls 2024: The AIADMK faces crucial tests following its split from the BJP-led NDA. In the last general elections, the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance secured a resounding victory, claiming 38 out of 39 seats in the state.
