Ramdin, Cariah crack centuries in Red Force warm-up

DENESH Ramdin and Yannic Cariah both struck centuries in a TT Red Force 50-over practice match at the National Cricket Centre in Couva, on Wednesday.
The Red Force are preparing for the Cricket West Indies Super50 tournament, which will be played in Antigua from February 4 to 27.
The Kieron Pollard XI were reduced to 60/3 after 17 overs with Jeremy Solozano (five), Evin Lewis (26) and Jyd Goolie (17) all being dismissed.
Ramdin and Cariah then combined to put on an unbroken partnership of 257 runs for the fourth-wicket.

TT RED Force skipper Kieron Pollard and fellow all-rounder Dwayne Bravo joined several seasoned and up-and-coming TT cricketers at the National Cricket Centre, Couva, on Monday, to participate in a team training session under recently-appointed coach David Furlonge.
The healthy mixture of players are gearing up for possible selection to the Red Force team which will contest the Super50 Cup from February 4 to 27 in Antigua/Barbuda.

RAINS FORCED the abandonment of a pair of TT Red Force warm-up matches at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba on Monday.
The Red Force, under the guidance of recently-appointed coach David Furlonge, are preparing for the 2021 Regional Super50 Cup, which will take place in Antigua from February 4-27.
On Monday, the Denesh Ramdin XI and the Imran Khan XI met for their third scheduled 50-overs trial match. Both squads entered the game with a 1-1 record, after the first two meetings.

THE TT Red Force will continue to prepare for the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Super50 tournament with its third practice match over the past week at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, at 9.30 am, on Monday.
The Red Force, under new coach David Furlonge and manager Sebastian Edwards, will have its first major assignment for 2021 at the CWI Regional Super50 tournament in Antigua from February 4 to 27.
