A boy and girl in China, both of whom are younger than 15, were given permission to marry by their parents but local officials have “criticised and educated” them and ordered the girl to return home.
The parents of 44 out of the 47 students in the class appealed to the school to let the teacher stay, arguing they are satisfied with her performance. A woman whose daughter is one of the students punished says the teacher is not to blame and that she had acted ‘impulsively’.
A claim that some mothers in China take their sons, some of whom are teenagers, into female bathrooms and change rooms has sparked heated discussion online.
