Chief Judge Stephen Stobbs confirmed that all associate judges in the Third Judicial Circuit have been reappointed for another four-year term by approval of the sitting circuit judges.
All associate judges in the Third and Twentieth Judicial Circuits were recommended for reappointment in an Illinois State Bar Association Advisory Poll, but some were more favored than others.
Chief Judge Stephen Stobbs of the Third Judicial Circuit announced Wednesday that Emily Johnson Nielsen and Justin S. Zimmerman were selected to fill two associate judge vacancies.
