Click the thumbs up >Vertu Motors has doubled-up its 2021 season support for British Touring Cars Championship (BTCC) racer Tom Ingram with sponsorship from its Bristol Street Motors Hyundai Nottingham dealership. Now the AM100 PLC operation has revealed that its Nottingham Hyundai dealership will also benefit from branding in Ingram’s Hyundai i30 N racing car. The Bristol Street Motors Hyundai logo will feature on the race car, demo car, race overalls and trucks. Justin Iliffe, branch manager at Bristol Street Motors Nottingham Hyundai, said: “We are proud and delighted to be sponsoring Tom. He is a talented driver, in a very exciting car who is expected to have a really good season.”

With the car of Tom Ingram having already broken cover, the cars of Chris Smiley, Rick Parfitt Jr and Jack Butel were shown off at Silverstone, which plays host to the season launch and official test today. Smiley – who will run as team-mate to Ingram – will run a blue and black livery similar to that seen on his car last year, with Parfitt Jr’s car in yellow and Butel running with green as they join forces for the season ahead.

Parfitt, the only driver to win both the GT3 and GT4 titles in the British GT Championship, will line up alongside Tom Ingram, Chris Smiley and Jack Butel at the wheel of a Hyundai i30 N Fastback for what will be his first taste of touring car racing. The 2017 British GT title winner is set to make his debut in the BTCC this season, driving one of four Hyundai 30N Fastbacks the team will run this season. Parfitt Jr will join last year s BTCC title contender Tom Ingram, Chris Smiley, retained by the team for 2020, and Jack Butel, who has arrived from Ciceley Motorsport.
