Kota Kinabalu: The State Government will decide on assistance to be provided to affected people due to the Covid-19 pandemic according to the current needs.
Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Shahelmey Yahya
(pic) said the government will continue to monitor the latest development of the outbreak and will provide suitable aid such as food baskets for the people.
He was responding to a question by nominated assemblywoman Datuk Amisah Yassin at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, Monday.

“To a question from Sri Tanjong assemblyman (Justin Wong Yung Bin), from Sept 26-Dec 15, a total of 44,061 food baskets had been distributed in Tawau,” he said.
