Angola bicyclist struck, killed by dump truck
ANGOLA â Retired school teacher and Trine University administrator Susah Stroh, 67, of Angola, died from injuries sustained when the bicycle she was riding was struck by a dump truck Tuesday afternoon on Wendell Jacob Avenue near Glendarin Golf Course in Angola.
Police said Stroh was struck by a Steuben County Highway Department dump truck, driven by Jared Perkins, 43, of Montgomery, Michigan.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash. The crash remains under investigation, according to the Angola Police Department.

ALBION â His murder charge is as serious as it gets, but when Matthew Rodriguez is brought back to Noble County from Ohio sometime next week, heâll be just another inmate at the Noble County Jail.
âWeâll treat him like a normal individual,â Noble County Sheriff Max Weber said. âIt all depends on his attitude and how he gets along with other inmates and staff.â
Noble County Prosecutor Jim Mowery has charged Rodriguez, 24, of Kendallville with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with a shooting at Gallops gas station in Kendallville on Sunday.
