Britain is set for more flooding misery as eight inches of rain are set to fall within just 36 hours from tomorrow - as the country clears up after downpours left roads and homes under water.
The Met Office predicted that by the end of today more than a month s rain could fall, causing life-threatening floods and travel chaos to southern parts of England and Wales.
Parts of Devon and Southern Wales have been left submerged following warnings that half a month's rain may fall in the space of a single day, flooding airport terminals and shutting roads.
