The SDSU Prexy Council held a networking social event Oct. 3 following the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Science Career Fair. At this event, the Collegian spoke with several employers about what they are looking for in future employees and asked them how students should prepare for the event. TROY, N.Y. â Mazzone Hospitality and the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area (BGCCA) recently announced they are holding a fundraising event on Friday, May 14 to benefit the 20 residents displaced by the April 25 fire on 4th Street.
The event includes a spaghetti and meatball dinner as well as a silent auction and will be held at River Street Market, 433 River Street in Troy. Presale tickets for the dinner as well as donations can be placed online at https://bgcalbany.z2systems.com/eventReg.jsp?event=164&.
The spaghetti and meatball dinner is prepared by Mazzone Hospitality and available for $10 each. Included are spaghetti with marinara sauce, meatballs, grated parmesan, red pepper flake, and an Italian roll with butter. Napkins and disposable cutlery are available. The meals will be served for hot takeout by volunteers from Mazzone Hospitality as well as the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Region.
