A Muncie man has been declared guilty for his role in the murder and attempted robbery of an Indianapolis man more than two years ago.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday that a jury found Kendall Hart, 26, guilty in the murder of Tony Currie and attempted robbery resulting in serious bodily injury after a three-day trial.
A friend found Currie’s body lying face down in his apartment on Sept. 8, 2018. Homicide detectives responded to the scene and discovered a gunshot wound in Currie’s head. Police pulled surveillance footage from cameras in the same room as Currie’s body.
