Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Jul 10, 2021 | 11:39 PM PIERRE – Colin Adams’ three-run homer highlighted a seven-run second inning Saturday in the Pierre Trappers’ 7-5 win over the Hastings Sodbusters in the first game of a doubleheader at Hyde Stadium. Pierre couldn’t hold a 6-0 lead in the second game and lost to Hastings 7-6 in eight innings. An error scored the first run in the Trappers’ big inning in the first game, followed by RBI singles by Richard Williams and Ty Stauss and Adams’ home run. Andrew Kim later had an RBI single. Jared Shelon was the winner in relief, with Mason Wells earning a save.
