Edmore’s village manager of four years has resigned to take a new job as the city manager of Plainwell. Justin Lakamper submitted his resignation to the Edmore Village Council on May 9. His last day will be June 8.
The Edmore Village Council continues to stay busy in making a variety of marijuana-related decisions. In the last month and a half, the Village Council approved giving a $150,000 loan to a marijuana growing facility, denied the application of marijuana grower license, approved renewing a retail marijuana license and denied adding a microbusiness license.
