The Ottawa-based duo Twin Flames is one of the leading nominees announced Wednesday in the inaugural edition of the Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Awards, to be handed out next month.
The husband-and-wife team of singer-songwriters Chelsey June and Jaaji are in the running for four awards, including recording artist of the year, radio song/single of the year for their track, Battlefields, and pop/rock/alternative album of the year for Omen. Their cover of The Tragica
