Speed chase is in the hospital with life threatening injuries this evening. Just moments ago, authorities identified the woman involved in the shooting off the old highway, its 46yearold karen jenks. She is a transient. Started at 11 45 last night when someone called 911 to report a car going in reverse on highway 101 near windsor. Deputies caught up with the car, the chase began hitting nearly 100 miles an hour, when the woman finally stopped deputies say she refused to surrender.
