Hamilton High School grads honored in outdoor ceremony
HAMILTON Hamilton High School s Class of 2021 came together Thursday evening at the Hamilton High School football stadium to be recognized during a graduation ceremony.
Battling strong winds that knocked off many graduates caps as they walked across the stage to receive diplomas and trying to beat a rain storm that pushed the ceremony time from 7 p.m. up to 5:30 p.m., school leaders celebrated the achievements of a class that succeeded despite the challenges of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year is not what any of us envisioned for your senior year, said Principal Ben Bandfield during the ceremony, but the 197 scholars sitting before us have navigated it beautifully.
