The Madras High Court on Thursday rejected an appeal preferred by VK Sasikala against an order upholding her removal as AIADMK General Secretary. Justice R Subramanian and Justice N Senthilkumar.
Sasikala had approached the High Court last year challenging her removal from the post of interim general secretary of AIADMK by the party General Council.
A division bench of Justices R Subramanian and R Kalaimathi also upheld a single judge’s 2020 order which had held that the admission of 65 doctors for PG degree and diploma courses was illegal.
The Madras High Court recently observed that the term decree or order used in the Presidency Town Insolvency Act 1909, is not limited to a decree of the civil court but would include an order.
