In total, 16 police were hurt, multiple vehicles damaged. Fires lit and looting broke out. Police releasing tear gas canisters to try to disperse those crowds. Charlotte police say keith lamont scott, a 43yearold father of seven was armed. This is what police say but scotts family say he didnt have a gun and that it was a book. The officer who shot scott was africanamerican, is africanamerican, but his daughter claims her dads killing was about race.
