AS part of the programme to commemorate his 64th birthday, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday inaugurated bore holes in four communities under Lafia emirate council area of the Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State to commemorate his 64th birthday in the state.
Osinbajo also doled out N5m to fifty vulnerable men and women to cushion the effect of COVID-19 second wave.
Those four benefitting communities are Manu Ankuza, Kanzewa, Ammah community and Lafia South.
Osinbajo, while inaugurating the project in Lafia, said the rationale behind the gesture was due to the love the citizens of the state, including the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage, and the Lafia Emirate council have for him.

Governors of the 19 Northern States and their traditional rulers have commenced a two-day meeting in Kaduna State to address issues of insecurity ravaging the region.
NAN reports that the meeting which was opened on Thursday is also being attended by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawal, Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari and the Information Minister, Lai Mohammed.
Others are the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Mohammed Monguno, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Ibrahim and the Director-General, State Security Service, Yusuf Bichi.
The participants are expected to discuss current security challenges bedevilling the Northern region and as well as issues around youth unemployment.
