The Bombay High Court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against the Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda (Fort), Rakesh Garg, in a testamentary matter wherein a spinster bequeathed her movable.
The Bombay High Court directed the developer to pay Rs. 4 crore within six weeks to purge contempt, 1 crore already deposited and the developer is required to pay remaining Rs. 3 crore within six weeks.
The Bombay High Court judge was speaking at a breakfast event organised by the Indian Arbitration Forum to discuss India’s new arbitration regime and what the future of this regime may look like.
