GORHAM, NY In a decision released last month by New York s Commission on Judicial Conduct, Gorham Town Justice John R. Peck is to be admonished for public Facebook posts in which he appeared dressed in a police uniform and expressed an appreciation for law enforcement officers.
According to the determination initially made by the commission March 19, Peck, a former deputy, K9 handler and school resource officer, attended the July 19 Back the Blue event in Ontario County holding a sign with the words Thank You written on it. On July 21, Peck made a public post regarding his appearance at the event that featured a photo of him wearing an Ontario County sheriff s uniform.
