At this, the bench asked who was the main accused person in the case. Arnab Goswami, Singh said, referring to Republic TV s editor-in-chief.
Singh also informed the court that a charge sheet had already been filed in the case.
On January 19, a sessions court in Mumbai rejected Dasgupta s bail plea.
Singh said the court s detailed order recording reasons for refusing bail to Dasgupta had not been made available to the parties yet.
Justice Naik, therefore, adjourned the hearing on the bail plea to February 2, and asked the advocates in the case to submit a copy of the charge sheet and the lower court order by then.

The Bombay High Court on Monday was informed that Partho Dasgupta, former chief executive officer and managing director of the Broadcast Audience Research Council and accused in the Television Rating Point (TRP) manipulation case, was shifted back to Taloja Central Jail from JJ Hospital.
Public prosecutor Deepak Thakare submitted Mr. Dasgupta’s medical report to a single judge bench of Justice P.D. Naik showing that he is in stable condition and said that if there was any medical emergency, he would be immediately shifted to the hospital.

The Bombay high court on Monday refused to grant bail to Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor, who is accused in a case of money laundering.
Kapoor was arrested in March last year by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The central agency is conducting an investigation against Kapoor, his wife, and their three daughters over a sum of Rs 600 crore received by a firm allegedly controlled by them from an entity linked to scam-hit Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL).
In July last year, a special court in Mumbai rejected Kapoor’s bail plea following which he approached the HC.
