Freddy Flores, 20, was arrested Monday around 3 p.m. in downtown Manhattan by the United States Marshal Service fugitive task force in the NYC shooting of a 2-year-old, police and sources said.
The arrest comes two days after a toddler, who was an innocent bystander, was shot in the hip in broad daylight Saturday in the Bronx. The boy was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The case against Amy Cooper, a woman who called the police to accuse a black man of threatening her and her dog in New York City’s Central Park, was dismissed.
