Morrison withdraws from justice of the peace race

Glenn Morrison has pulled out of the race for Justice of the Peace in Maricopa.Morrison, who now serves as the Maricopa-area District 4 constable, announced his decision Monday.“This decision has been made in the best interests of my family and myself,” Morrison said. “I will continue to serve as constable. Luckily, we have a solid strong candidate in Patricia Glover and I will support her 100% as she pursues this role. Should she be successful in her candidacy, I look forward to working with her.”Glover, a Republican, has been in the legal field for 18 years, starting as a paralegal. She’s the founding owner of her own business, Glover Court Solutions & Estate Planning. Maricopa constable eyes judge vacancy

Maricopa-area District 4 Constable Glenn Morrison wants to run for justice of the peace in the November general election. A Rancho El Dorado resident, Morrison filed his interest statement with Pinal County Elections Department to run as a Republican in the Aug. 6 primary. He is the only candidate so far to share his interest in running for the justice of the peace position.
