your conversations are like when you aren t on the camera. the comments and off many understand the process is going way too fast. minority hearing day they re concerned about. the complete trashing of the rules of minority hearing day and minority rights we have emphasized part of this impeachment process or not. many senior democrats on the dais yesterday and when i talked to them on the floor are concerned that chairman nadler and speaker pelosi said we aren t getting a minority hearing today. that s the trashing of the house rules. bill: we re seeing the democrats come to the room now. want to ask you about the i.g. report. another significant story that will go front and center tomorrow on the senate side. speaker pelosi at the microphone. on this solemn day i recall that the first order of business for members of congress was the solemn act to take an oath to protect and
reaction from democrats on the hill and the i.g. report is still forthcoming tomorrow with that hearing on the docket. guy, thank you in florida today. jerry nadler said it in service to our duty to the country and constitution. two articles of impeachment are set to be put forward. we ll be here for all of it. stay tuned to the fox news channel and this fox station for continuing coverage on this story and more throughout the day. i m bill hemmer in new york. we have a big show. more reaction to this historic moment from both sides. we speak with democratic leader congresswoman debbie dingell at our 10:30 headliner spot we ll have republican senator thom tillis who sits on the judiciary committee. plus another big story this morning as if that s not enough we re monitoring this president trump and secretary of state mike pompeo both meeting with russian foreign minister sergey
tell you? on the mueller report i think it s very critical what we saw potentially was yesterday with the horowitz report. if the horowitz report indicated there was political bias they wouldn t have been so quick to talk about obstruction because then the idea of everything going backwards i think would have emptied out. but when you have the mueller report now standing there and it is still valid given the sources and the way the origins of the report. bill: they would go back to the mueller matter and they did not. the point to be made here is these moderate democrats in red districts or purple districts, which there are 31. that s why you narrow the field and didn t make it more broad. the point to be made there. with regard to the fisa abuse do you think there has to be a serious check on the court and the powers it has. i haven t seen abuse of the fisa court. if you have somebody submit a document that was flawed. this was flawed.
inspector general report. they are pointing to an abuse of power on behalf of top levels of the f.b.i. lindsey graham has this hearing tomorrow with michael horowitz. how do you think that is going to go? i think there will be fireworks, bill. listen, i m a big fan of the f.b.i., i love them. know mike horowitz. i think they missed the mark here. you look at that report and you just pull out 475 pages of misleading, altered documents, a lawyer who is creating documents, the emails that exist. not relying on credible information. that warrant was not worth the paper it s written on. bill: john durham put out a statement immediately as the report was released. i want to read that. based on the evidence collected to date while our investigation is ongoing last month we advised the inspector general we do not agree with some of
russia investigation. in that report, however, he found 17 inaccuracies and omissions as well as learning that the faulty steele dossier was used to get a fisa warrant from the court. both sides now spinning this in their favor. here is a sample of that. this was an attempted overthrow and a lot of people were in on it. and they got caught. they got caught red-handed. for two years the president of the united states accused our premier law enforcement agency of treason, trying to defeat him and trying to stop him. it turns out that was all nonsense. you can argue if you would like that there was a legal predicate to start the investigation. it doesn t matter to me. if it started legitimate it became criminal pretty quick. bill: good morning, david. what are you hearing from d.o.j. officials? well good morning, bill. we re hearing from all different kinds of officials. a lot of fallout.
