Snyder also wasn t totally happy with
Dawn of Justice, instead wanting something more poetic . Warner Bros. I remember when there was a back-and-forth that I had with the studio,
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was like the only title that [Warner Bros liked], Snyder said during his appearance at Justice Con over the weekend. The whole v instead of versus , it was like this crazy negotiation. I was like, Guys, can t we just do something like
Son of Sun and

Zombie tiger! That was the major takeaway from the latest
Army of the Deadtrailer, showcasing Zack Snyder’s upcoming horror movie on Netflix. Fans immediately seized onto the undead tiger, which was a nice left-field surprise element for the zombie genre. But another surprise element is how the tiger was created by the VFX team, and the unexpected connection it has to another Netflix title:
Tiger King.
Netflix loves throwing in some corporate synergy between its original titles, but this latest tie-in with Zack Snyder’s
Army of the Dead came by accident. At a virtual panel for Justice Con (via Collider), producer
The Batman film, the more disappointing it becomes that we never got his version.
The latest news about the abandoned DCEU project comes from Justice Con, a fan-organized event for all things Zack Snyder, where actor Joe Manganiello spoke in detail about how his character Deathstroke would’ve been the main villain, hunting Batman after blaming him for the death of his son.
Manganiello also revealed that we would have seen Batgirl featuring in The Batman, in what would’ve been her first appearance in the DC Extended Universe. He spoke about a fight scene, which would have pitted Batgirl and Batman against Deathstroke. The way Manganiello describes it, it seems like it would’ve been quite the epic moment.
