The Supreme Court trial for the murder of Fareed Ahmad has ended in the accused, WPC Michelle Brown, being found not guilty. The incident took place in December 2017 and now, three years later, the high-profile case has come to an end and to say the least, a great percentage of the Belizean people are dissatisfied with the verdict. The trial began earlier this year before Justice Colin Williams, who said that the prosecution did not offer sufficient evidence of Brown´s guilt. These include a number of inconsistencies in the prosecution´s submissions and a number of documents, which were not submitted into evidence.

Abner Itza, who had issued police weapons on the day when Brown went on shift.
