Supreme Court judge Umar Ata Bandial has asked the federal government’s counsel to answer the questions that he had earlier posed to the petitioner judge, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, regarding his alleged nexus with family member’s foreign properties.
As head of a 10-judge bench hearing a slew of petitions against the SC’s June 19, 2020 order, Justice Bandial on Tuesday asked Justice Isa to explain if he had any link with his wife Sarina Isa’s bank accounts and transfer of money through them after his appointment as the Balochistan High Court chief justice.

LHC reserves judgement on harassment plea against PML-N leaders
Counsel claims political victimisation of party leaders, workers
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday reserved its verdict on a plea challenging First Information Reports (FIRs), arrests and harassment of PML-N leaders and workers by the provincial police.
During the hearing presided over by Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmed, a report was submitted on behalf of the province s top police official and the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO). The report stated that any illegal harassment has neither been nor will be caused to the MPAs, MNAs or other leaders and workers of the PML-N by police officials.
