Current justices. We begin with the longest serving member of the court, anthony kennedy, appointed by Ronald Reagan after the failed nomination of robert pork. Confirmed unanimously in 1988, replacing and nixon appointee, Justice Lewis powell, and previoly served on the nth ciuit court of appeals. Indeed, it was 75 years ago this month that Franklin Roosevelt announced his Court Packing plan which is the subject of much of my book. Ill talk to in a moment. All i can say is that there will be some significant shortfalls that will result with that particular number which will make it very challenging for us to be able to put in place right from the get go what we need to do to be successful in this endeavor. Doctor, thank you very much
