The Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan (“the Foundation”) held the 2024 YSBC Reunion on International Women's Day, 8 March, at the Illume Taipei and invited all YSBCs of universities and colleges in Taiwan to discuss the outstanding results of promoting social businesses and sustainable actions in 2023, as well as the future road maps. The Foundation hopes to actively cultivate sustainable talents through alliances with more universities, rooting in Taiwan and bridging them internationally.
Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan has established the Yunus Story House in Taichung, dedicated to local well-being and promoting the spirit of social welfare inspired by Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 2006. In line with its commitment to rooted education, on the eve of Christmas, December 23, 2023, the foundation will organize the " Yunus Baby Boss " family event at the Yunus Story House in Taichung. Children will have the opportunity to wear aprons and transform into young entrepreneurs, integrating financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and sustainability concepts. The aim is to provide a hands-on educational experience for children to deeply understand these principles.
