Govt notifies seniority list of KAS officers appointed between 2004 & 2008 Govt notifies seniority list of KAS officers appointed between 2004 & 2008 Mohinder Verma JAMMU, Apr 8: Keeping in view the recent judgment of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and principles laid down by it, the Government has notified a seniority list of the members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service appointed between January 1, 2004 and December 1, 2008 as it stood on January 1, 2010. The Tribunal vide its order dated March 30, 2021 dismissed the pleas challenging the final seniority dated June 24, 2011, set aside the orders constituting the committees to review and revise the final seniority list dated June 24, 2011 and held Rule 15(4) of 2008 Rules and Clause (1) of the proviso as illegal and contrary to law.

JKPSC Announces Recruitment of 257 Vacancies for CCE 2021 JKPSC Announces Recruitment of 257 Vacancies for CCE 2021 SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has on Friday announced recruitment for various posts under Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exams for the ongoing year. Through the recruitment process, the Commission intends to fill-up 257 vacancies for posts including; Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service, J&K Police (G) Service and J&K Accounts (G) Service. For the post of Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service a total of 56 vacancies have been announced which include 28 under OM, 6 under RBA, 5 under SC, 6 under ST, 2 under ALC/IB, 5 under EWS, 2 under PSP, 2 under SLC, while as 141 vacancies for J&K Police (G) Services includes 70 under OM, 14 under RBA, 12 under SC, 14 under ST, 6 under ALC/IB, 14 under EWS, 6 under PSP and 5 under SLC.
