Earlier this morning, the hearse carrying sen Dianne Feinstein arrived at San Francisco city hall. Company leaders tell me that will be no more Artificial Insemination and female whales will be put on a version of residual as part of a strategy to make sure that natural breeding does not take place. The company has 29 orcas across the park with one baby on way. Seven killer whales are in orlando. All of them will be held in captivity for the rest of their lives according to the company and those whales live for decades meaning sea world will continue to have them for decades. The other big surprises the Humane Society of the United States announced they are after years of protesting sea whales. We came together because the public had really moved on in a lot of ways from some of the conventional practices at sea world. I think this is a monumental announcement that sea world saying it is going to and the breeding of orcas. Interview. Tonight two very different stories about what happened sunday night that left one man dead and another in jail. Friends turned out to pay tribute to the victim. Reporter it was here at the jail where the suspect told us repeatedly that the knife he pulled out was in selfdefense to save him from a brutal beating from six people who were gang members. Both sides are claiming selfdefense. Really quiet. But he was so caring. Dozens of friends gathered for a memorial to remember 16yearold ivan diaz. Grief has paralyzed his family. They are really bad right now. Its shocking for everybody especially his mom and dad. Reporter this is the man accused of killing diaz. Were hearing three victims have been transported to San Francisco general hospital. They are expected to survive. Were hearing some indications this may have been a drive by style shooting.
