Pa. seniors seeking COVID-19 vaccines can get help Updated 9:35 PM; Senior citizens who are still trying to get the COVID-19 vaccines can find help in securing appointments and transportation. The Pennsylvania Department of Aging is urging older residents who need help in finding appointments to contact their local Area Agency on Aging offices. Local agencies can also help seniors get rides to vaccine providers. (A full list of phone numbers is listed below.) Earlier this week, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf expanded the COVID-19 vaccine distribution to include everyone over the age of 16. Vaccine providers across central Pennsylvania say they have appointments available.

No new virus deaths reported in Mifflin, Juniata counties | News, Sports, Jobs

From staff reports There were no new COVID-19-related deaths reported in Mifflin or Juniata counties Monday, according to data released by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. In Mifflin County, there were 24 new cases reported, for a new total of 4,026 since the pandemic began. There have been 136 deaths among Mifflin County residents due to COVID-19 so far. Juniata County reported just nine new cases for a new total of 1,589 so far. Juniata County has had 71 virus-related deaths. A total of 17 new cases were reported in Snyder County, as was one additional death. Snyder County has had 2,331 cases so far and 58 deaths.
