Ariarne Titmus has upstaged American swimming legend Katie Ledecky in emphatic fashion, winning a gold medal in the 400m freestyle on a successful day in the pool for Australia.
Titmus’s sensational victory handed Australia a second gold medal of the Games. Emma McKeon took bronze in the 100m butterfly, as did the Australian men’s 4x100m freestyle relay team.
