A fire broke out at a grocery shop on the ground floor of a three-storey building in the Raviwar Peth area of Pune City on Monday morning, said officials
No casualties were reported in the blaze at the shop located inside Clover Centre shopping-cum-residential complex though the materials stored inside the store were completely destroyed, said Pune Fire Brigade that sprung into action to douse the blaze around 3.30 am.
Pune Fire Brigade Chief Devendra Potphode said that the preventive countermeasures to these fires are centred around three concepts: load management, maintenance and preparedness.
