Daly s Cousin Goes for Gold in Field Hockey in Tokyo for Ireland

Daly’s Cousin Goes for Gold in Field Hockey in Tokyo for Ireland By Zach Horrall | Published: Jul 27, 2021 The Summer Olympics in Tokyo are well underway as athletes from across the world represent their home countries and go all out to achieve a lifelong dream of winning an Olympic gold medal in their respective sport. Passionate American and NTT INDYCAR SERIES athlete Conor Daly is rooting on the United States in every sport he can possibly find to watch. But he’s also rooting for a very specific athlete: Nicola Daly of Ireland – better known as his cousin Nicci. Nicci is a forward for Ireland’s women’s field hockey team in this year’s Olympic Games. It is her first appearance in the Olympics. She and Team Ireland won the silver medal in the 2018 Women’s Field Hockey World Cup after a 6-0 loss to the Netherlands in the finals.

Strong Indy Lights Leaders Have Eyes on INDYCAR Future

Strong Indy Lights Leaders Have Eyes on INDYCAR Future By Curt Cavin | Published: Jul 23, 2021 Colton Herta, Pato O’Ward and Rinus VeeKay have won NTT INDYCAR SERIES races this year. Don’t think Indy Lights drivers haven’t noticed. The Road to Indy path to INDYCAR has seemingly become more established with each passing season, and 22 of the participants in this year’s Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge are a product of at least one step in the program. Thirteen active drivers have won INDYCAR races as Indy Lights graduates. The number of Indy Lights drivers advancing to INDYCAR each year always varies based on the number of open seats and the financial backing that’s available, but the confidence INDYCAR team owners have in the Road to Indy as a development program is genuine, which bodes well for this class.
