+ February 16, 2021 POLICE arrested 20 personalities, including one most wanted, following a series of anti-criminality operations in Northern Samar from February 8 to 14, 2021.
“I am grateful for the continuous effort of our police stations to capture persons with warrant of arrest,” said Colonel Arnel Apud, director of Northern Samar Police Provincial Office (NSPPO).
“Despite the pandemic, we will not put our guards down and our campaign to fight against criminality will not stop,” added the police official.
Personnel of Pambujan Municipal Police Station and Mapanas Municipal Police Station, along with 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested Jun Mengulio Jagonoy, 28, for murder case.

+ February 10, 2021 TWO most wanted persons who are facing murder and rape charges were apprehended in separate anti-criminality operations in Eastern Visayas.
Police arrested 27-year-old fish vendor Jun Mengulio Jagonoy, who has been listed as number 2 most wanted-municipal level, on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Mapanas, Northern Samar.
Judge Ricardo Estavillo Amos, of Regional Trial Court (RTC)-Branch 22 in Laoang town, did not recommend bail for the accused who is facing a murder case.
On February 9, joint police operatives arrested the number 3 most wanted-provincial level in Dagami, Leyte.
The accused, 45-year-old farm laborer Jerry Espina, had warrants for attempted murder and rape.
