Posted on February 16, 2021 by msanders Oh, it’s all fun and games the first couple of days. We just got our “scrapers” handed to us- if you are one of the lucky ones that have an ice scraper. I watched from the comfort of my kitchen table my neighbors using brooms, spatulas and warm water to clean off their car windshields. I am lucky that I still have a scraper from my days in the mountains of Colorado. I almost threw it away a couple weeks ago thinking I will not need this again. That would have been a terrible move, not having this genius snow tool. Freezing rain on a bare glass windshield would have proven to be a bigger pain than the numbness in my cold fingers. Now with that windshield clean, I can easily see the other cars slipping and a sliding trying to get to work or the store like me.  I know that this weather will pass but for a quick minute I am reminded that I don’t do cold well and snow is only fun for the young folks and those who enjoy
