Good evening. We begin with breaking news out of San Francisco. A tragic crash. A 4yearold girl hit in a stroller and her father hit by an suv. The little girl died. It happened at the corner of 4th and king, just blocks from the ballpark and just before tonights giants game. Nbc bay areas thom jensen joins us from s. F. General where the father is being treated, his daughter already dead. Reporter this is tragic. Sfpd would only tell us that this family is from out of town. At last report, the father was still here in the hospital, being treated for lifethreatening injuries. The suv was still at the scene hours after the crash. And the driver still being questioned in the backseat of a police cruiser. A spokesman for sfpd says the scene was chaotic, as emergency crews fought to get the suv off the child and transported her and her father to the hospital, both fighting for their lives at that time. The 4yearold female succumb to her injuries and was declared deceased at the hospital. R
