For Kennywood s 123rd season, the park is instituting a new chaperone policy.Beginning at 4 p.m., Kennywood will now require anyone under the age of 17 to be accompanied by an adult chaperone such as a parent, guardian or other supervising adult at least 21 years or older.Chaperones must show an ID with a photo and date of birth.Nick Paradise, Kennywood s communications director, said a chaperone policy has been discussed for years, but the park finally reached a point where it was time to implement one.
