ACTOR Adam Weafer has laughed off suggestions he may become Fair City’s new hearththrob when he’s introduced to fans on the hit show tonight.
Eagle eyed viewers may remember Adam as playing David Hennessy in TV3’s Red Rock, and he also starred afterwards in a couple of episodes of Coronation Street as Irish teacher Mr Fitzgerald.
Tonight, he will be introduced as returning teacher Cian Howley, who left under a cloud after his character fell for teenage pupil Juliet O’Connell and ended up kissing her.
“He was teaching Juliet and they shared a kiss,” Adam tells Sundayworld.com.
