Synology launches SNV3000 series M 2 NVMe SSDs and 10/25GbE NICs – KitGuru

Synology has released two new enterprise-grade M.2 NVMe SSDs for data caching and two high-bandwidth NICs to increase the performance of its NAS storage solutions.  Available with 800GB of storage capacity both the SNV3400-800G and the SNV3500-800G are used for caching large data sets, increasing the performance of HDD-based arrays in a NAS. With a rated random read/write performance of 375K/70K IOPS and an endurance rating of 0.68 DWPD (Drive Writes Per Day) and 500TBW, the SNV3000 series SSDs are compatible with Synology’s DiskStation Manager, allowing users to monitor their drives performance, lifetime analytics, and lifespan.
