Department of Education names 7 Massachusetts students as 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars

Seven Massachusetts high schoolers are among 161 students from across the nation who have been named U.S. Presidential Scholars.
The honor from the U.S. Department of Education recognizes high school seniors for their accomplishments in academics, the arts, and career and technical education fields.
The Massachusetts scholars are:
Arden E. Lloyd of Amherst Regional High School (U.S. Presidential Scholar in Arts)
Andrew Harris of Middlesex School in Concord (U.S. Presidential Scholar in Arts)
Caroline Curran of Sturgis Charter School in Hyannis
Kevin Wen of Somerville High School
