Free haircuts for those who need one in downtown Kitchener

Haircuts can make a huge difference for people experiencing homelessness, says Julie Sawatzky, creator of a local nonprofit called the 519 Community Collective. She stood outside the St John's Kitchen in Downtown Kitchener Wednesday to give haircuts to anyone in need of a trim. Sawatzky is now hoping the community will help her fund another cut-a-thon event coming up in about three weeks.
