Delta Township  A Michigan board decided Monday that the campaign to ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity had fallen short of the required petition signatures to advance to the state Legislature. The Board of State Canvassers, which features two Democrats and two Republicans, voted 4-0 to reject the certification of Fair and Equal Michigan s signatures.
