MILFORD A new behavioral health center opened in town this month, after a four-year campaign to raise the necessary funding.
“I really would like to be sure to say how grateful we are to the community for supporting our efforts to be able to expand our services in this really lovely new space,” said Julie Greiner-Ferris, program director for the Milford Riverside Community Care Outpatient Center.
The center, at 176 West St., is in a former medical office building, and represents the culmination of a $1.5 million fundraising project started in 2017. Riverside is a nonprofit providing behavioral health care and social services across more than 40 locations in eastern and central Massachusetts.
