Hiv aids advocate and also hiv positive. I have seen the impact that high drug pricing has had on patients. I have seen pricing copays where have to decide whether to pay the copay or to eat. Those situations. I was very active on prop d and so glad that San Francisco passed it. This drug traffic is a run away train. How do you stop a run away train . You stop it. Before long if we let it keep going its going to collapse our system. Its one of the issues that wasnt taken care of in the Affordable Care act. It should go hand in hand with drug cost. Also i have seen patients, im one of those lucky patients where the city and state are paying for it. In the end, many are paying and there are a lot of people that dont qualify just by a margin for city and state help. So they are struggling each month to pay for their drugs, Life Sustaining drugs and in 98 they created hiv medicine that help people live. These are drugs they have to take everyday. Here we show that on track and offtrack students we had a Completion Rate of 91 percent or 241 attempted. Here are two charts looking at the outcome before and after the program. The first chart shows the personal percentage of on track students who completed the program. As you look at the chart over all before our Evening School over 29 students were on track. After Summer School it increased to 24 percent. If you look at the second chart, it shows you the changes of graduation status of our offtrack students. They are initially offtrack at the beginning and after the Evening School program we show a positive change of 33 percent. 33 percent is the offtrack students able to move up in their graduation status meaning they are closer to graduation. It shows a break down of 12 and 11 and 10th graders. Moving forward one of the things we have here is the spring Evening School where we offer courses in biology, english and should be noted as well in the fall Evening School we had a specia

My name is i dont know son miller, and i am the chapter president for seiu, 1021, and i just want to announce that we are will be going into bargaining, and we understand that now there seems to be a big stable growth in money. And we are looking forward to a successful contract, and getting more money, and we will be opening up for wedges in healthcare, and it seems now that the california budget is showing positive stable growth and coupled with this improved out look for the economic recovery passage of proposition 30. And the event of the new locally controlled formula and the district is posed to responsibly address many of the consequences of the previous years of the budget shortfalls, and it is the advantage of everybody that we go into this bargaining, and good faith, and hopefully, that we can reach good settlements because as you know, we are members who open and close our schools just like the teachers in the
