A $20 million gift will fund a leadership development center for students at Washington University in St. Louis, creating new leadership trainings and funding research. A fall 2023 Student Voice survey by Inside Higher Ed and College Pulse found just over one-third (34 percent) of college students have held a leadership position within a sport, club or group, with an additional 9 percent planning to do so.
