COLORADO, USA The number of restaurants that have permanently closed in Colorado since the pandemic began is in the thousands.
For those that have stayed open, many are still struggling and are in desperate need of more aid from the government. It has been a nightmare, it’s been pretty hellish, said Jules Lieb, owner of Morning Glory Cafe in Lafayette. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I feel like we’ve learned a lot. I feel fortunate to be open.

Now a stalled relief bill on the president’s desk has led to uncertainty about how many more meals they can serve.
